The Safari Club International Hunter's Convention is something you have to see at least once in your lifetime. It will be in Reno next January 26 - 29, 2005. Plan now and be sure to look us up! Back from our spring bear hunts. I'll try and get some pics out there soon. March 21, 2003 Sunny and mid 40's - possible chance of snow/rain. Today, it looks like spring is here! Although winter may put up a little resistance before it sets in. We only take 4 hunters per year on this 100% successful hunt, so if you're thinking that there will be room next year - we only have February 7, 2003 Sunny and 40's. Back from FNAWS and SCI. The Latest Hunt page has been updated with new pics from this years' Spring bear hunts. Enjoy! June 13, 2002 Sunny and warm, around 70. Tomorrow is supposed to be almost 80! We did well on our Spring bear hunts. The pics should be out in a couple of weeks. May 1, 2002 Light rain and clearing, temperature yesterday was near 60! Our winter has been very unusual - setting new records for being too dry. Definitely not typical Juneau weather! I'm looking forward to our upcoming Spring Hunts. April 2, 2002 Clear and cold, day temps - mid 30's to low teens at night. Back from a great SCI show. Thanks to all of you that came by to visit. March 14, 2002 Light snow, temps in the low 20's. We have donated a 7-Day Black Bear Hunt for Auction at SCI on Friday afternoon March 22nd. We just returned from a terrific mountain goat and black bear trip. We took 3 goats and 2 bears. August 31, 2001 Fall has arrived - Drizzle and rain. Winds to 25+ knots. Tomorrow is opening day for black bear and ducks. Looking forward to some great hunts. There are new pics in the Blacktail deer section and Alpine Special area. July 30, 2001 Light rain and wind, temps in the mid 50's. Finally, the Latest Hunt page with this year's spring bear hunts is ready. June 24, 2001 Sun - same as yesterday. I've updated our Web Specials page and added a great deal on late season mountain goat hunt, among other specials. It's definitely worth checking out. June 23, 2001 Mostly sunny, temps in the 60's - nice! Finally get a chance to do some updating... Well, another great spring bear hunting season, even though it did get a late start. We took 2 out of the 3 brown bear and 6 out of the 7 black bear hunts. The fellow that hunted our early brown bear hunt unfortunately got to see a lot more of our rain and wind that he wanted for most of his trip. I'm happy to add that the two unsuccessful hunters will be returning soon for another go at it. March 12, 2001 March 2, 2001 We've had some sun over the last day or two, but new snow is on the way. Take a look at the brown bear hunt photo essay that was printed in the September 2000 Issue of the Rural Sportsman. It was written by J. Wayne Fears, who hunted with us last spring (see how that trip turned out). February 26, 2001 Last night was pretty nasty - rain and wind gusts to 120 knots (132+ mph).
